Position Details

• Full-time employed position at a critical access facility – Benefis Teton Medical Center, a certified trauma receiving facility
• Family Practice clinic 3 days per week
• Call is one night a week (M – Th) 15-hour shift, 1 weekend/month, at least 2 holidays a year rotating with 3 other providers
• Current Staff: 1 Emergency Medicine physician (supervisory role), 2 NPs and 1 PA
• Family Practice clinic experience preferred, ER experience required
• ACLS and ATLS evidence of training is required with certification preferred
• Transfers available to large tertiary center in Great Falls Montana (Benefis Health System)
• Approximately 60 minutes by car/ambulance (56 miles)
• Great Falls has a fixed wing and rotor wing for urgent/emergent patient transfers
• Direct provider call in line to 24/7 emergency operator
• Available specialties include Urology, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, ENT, Plastics, Pulmonology, Neurology, Gastroenterology and a regional cancer institute

• Hospital has a 24/7 emergency room staffed with on-call providers
• Full-service laboratory with state-of-the-art technology
• X-ray department includes 64-slice CT capabilities – can provide immediate interpretation of digital images through PACS technology through Benefis Health System
• Digital mammography, breast ultrasound and bone density scanning available on monthly basis through a mobile unit
• PT and OT services in house
